Tingley is a community recreational reading facility open all year 'round. The library is a non-profit corporation, independent of the county library system. It is funded by generous donations (including that of benefactor, Beulah Hooks Hannah Tingley) and operated by friendly volunteers. No tax dollars are used. Membership is $3.00 per year, children 14 and under are free. Local address, phone number, and photo I.D. are required. The loan period is 3 weeks for 3 carded items and is renewable by phone.
